Every step we take gets us closer to a face-to-face audience with the King. My initial meeting with Christ was a face-to-face meeting. He parted the atmosphere, revealing the spirit world to me. I saw a door opened, with the King of Kings standing in the entryway.
Audibly, He called out from heaven, beckoning me to come inside. Yes, I enter!
After many months of getting to know Him the honeymoon phase with Him ended. I then embarked on a journey of working out my own salvation with fear and trembling. Life’s cycle ends when we come back to God, face to face, like the circle of life. The end of this cycle isn’t the death of the seed we’ve become; it’s resurrection and glorified in Him. Fully consumed!
My first encounter with Christ led me to question Earth’s purpose. He claimed Earth is a seed inside the universe He has made. He went on to say; I created you and sent you to Earth to be a seed-bearer. When I have finished everything on earth, I will roll up the earth like a scroll. Earth's good seed is for universal expansion. Your purpose is linked to a grander scheme than just your own activities.
Make it count. Remember the scripture: Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and devoured them up. Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth and sprung up quickly, because they had no deepness of earth. And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But others fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold (Matthew 13:2-8).
Those seeds that fell among thorns represent those who hear the message but are choked by life’s worries, riches, and pleasures, thus bearing no fruit. Yet, other seeds fell on good soil and yielded fruit.
As seed bearers, we produce fruits. The Lord owns the earth and the cattle that graze upon a thousand hills. The universe and everything in it belong to Him, and is part of His grand story.
Instead of Christ’s story, people become preoccupied with their own life stories.
O gates, raise your heads, the King of Glory approaches.
