When we reach the end of the old narrative, ourselves and the knowledge that has been transmitted by the world, we experience a knowing that all is exactly how it is meant to be. Recognizing that the presence of Him living in us is all we need. God exists as the authentic self beyond our personal identities. His thoughts, plan, ways, and personality are all living in us. As the scripture goes, it’s no longer I who lives but Christ who lives in me. God always intended for Christ to be manifested on earth through transformed humans. We’ve been sidetracked by our own ambitions and desires. The ‘me within’ assumed control of both my body and existence. Instead of the glorious ‘I am’ that resides within. The transference happens when you realize this finer point. All though we have dedicated our lives to Christ and allowed our minds and spirits to be transformed through many years of trials and tribulations. Our earthly presence and expressions still reflected the core of our personalities. Yet, this expression does not belong to us, but rather to the Lord, who speaks through us.
What distance are you willing to travel? All the way I say!
If you’ve made it this far, the best is still ahead.
Our spirit holds the key to perfection, Be perfect, therefore, as your Heavenly Father is just perfect ( Matthew 5:48). Christ’s resurrection and glorification meant that we now have the dead body , resurrected body and the glorified body living within us. The scripture teaches us that abiding in Me and Me in you requires seeking Him within yourself, not relying on external knowledge and external props. The knowledge we’ve pursued externally has brought us here, but from now on, we only need His gentle voice from within. A change from going out to coming in. Him who overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out (Revelation 3). God’s kingdom resides within us! When going out, one can only glimpse the shadows of man’s knowledge and interpretations and expressions. The kingdom of God is where true reality exists, and that reality is within. By tuning into the still quiet voice within, we enhance our existence and witness the manifestation of His kingdom from within. The wandering will come to an end, and we will find our dwelling place with Him, living together. Behold the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God (Revelation 21:3-4).
Human reality is not genuine; it is a blend of good and evil. To see a change, we must take a different approach. Our FREE WILL should be watering the TREE of LIFE that lives in us. Only when ‘our will’ is in line with ‘His will’ can life truly be FREE. The key to a unique experience is finding the stillness within and letting go of the fallen tree. Stay away from fueling your mind with the tree of good and evil. Feed your spirit by embracing His Kingdom and His voice!
The Israelites were supposed to cross the desert in eleven days, but they were delayed by their own fallen nature and ended up spending forty years out there. Out of everyone, only the two chosen men and those under twenty made it into the promised land.
What exactly does the term promise land refer to?
To me, it signifies oneness with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The journey until now has been about conquering one’s own self. The King’s arrival and His Glory becomes postponed when we live self-centered lives. You might end up stranded in your own desert before your promise is fulfilled.
Living each day, knowing God’s promise of dwelling with His people, is the promise land. I embarked on my journey of overcoming in an actual desert. I found myself in a remote place where the desert and ocean meet, without any internet, phone signal, or people around. Every day symbolized a different aspect of myself that had to be sacrificed. We must endure the crucifixion of the cross in our own flesh. Overcoming my own self was the journey! Finally, you spot a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel and your days are no longer filled with struggles. He who the Son sets FREE is FREE indeed (John 8:36).
Now I sense Him coming! There is a strong anticipation of what is about to happen in my spirit. When you’ve done everything, you can, stand firm, as Ephesians 6:13 advises. His people will see the fulfillment of the King’s promise as He comes to dwell with them.
